Delete your account
Last updated 14 August 2026.
You can delete your Rheusk account and everything in it at any time, yourself, from inside the app. It happens immediately: no grace period, no soft delete, nothing sitting in a queue for a week.
There are two halves to leaving, and they have to be done in this order.
1. Cancel a paid plan first
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Only the company that sold it can end it, and once the account is gone we have no way to do it for you — so a subscription left running keeps billing for an account that no longer exists. Cancel it where you bought it:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Rheusk → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → Payments and subscriptions → Rheusk → Cancel.
- Bought on rheusk.com: Stripe bills it. Cancel from the billing portal, or write to [email protected] and we will cancel it before you delete.
Not sure which one you are on? Settings shows it on your plan card. On the free plan there is nothing to cancel — skip to the next step.
Cancelling leaves your plan running to the end of the period you already paid for. Delete whenever you like after that; we do not refund the remaining time, so there is no reason to hurry.
2. Delete it in the app
- Open app.rheusk.com, or the iPhone or Android app, and sign in.
- Open Settings — the ⋯ button at the top of the screen.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. The dialog is the last stop; there is no undo behind it.
You are signed out as soon as it is done, because there is no longer anything to be signed in to.
What gets deleted
Everything you made and everything we worked out about you: every theme, every idea, the text of every concept, outline and script, the captions and hashtags written beside them, and the voice profile built from the six questions. Your account row goes with it — email, display name, time zone, plan — and so does the Google Firebase sign-in behind it, so the credentials you used to get in stop existing too.
Two things outlive it, neither of them usable to put your work back together. Encrypted database backups age out on a rolling schedule and are gone within ninety days. And whoever took your payment — Apple, Google or Stripe — keeps the records that tax law requires of them; we cannot delete those, and they contain no part of your writing.
Take a copy first, if you want one
From the same Settings screen, Export everything gives you one JSON file with every theme, idea, and the full text of every stage each idea passed through — not just the one it ended on. Deleting does not offer to export for you, so do this before, or not at all.
If you only want it to forget your voice
Deleting the account is not the only lever. You can clear the profile on its own from Settings, which leaves your ideas and scripts where they are and puts Rheusk back to learning you from your kept scripts alone. If what you want is to stop being modelled, that is the smaller thing that does it.
Can't sign in?
If you have lost access to the account and cannot reach the button, email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will delete it and its data for you. Say so explicitly if a subscription is still running and you want help stopping it as well.
What we hold in the first place is listed on the privacy page.
